Great read! A tale of boyish adventure and a journey to manhood. The author manages to weave a tale of horses, cattle and men, interspersed with myth, philosophy, and Biblical allegory. Deception, a touch of romance, and heroics round out this story. There is nothing of great depth here, but the adventure slowly builds until you're hooked. At least I was.
